new guy question regarding muskrat

im gonna tan a muskrat that is cased skinned ive allready fleshed the hide.
couldnt find much info on tanning them . when i fleshed it i also removed the saddle
is this correct ? , i got the tti home kit, i have not washed the hide yet but it is salted.

i searched here and couldt find anything on the muskrats

First of all, I am not sure what you mean by saddle. 

As for tanning a cased skin you will need to cut a stretcher board.  They have a rounded off point for the head and gently get wider as it goes towards the tail.  After you have soaked and washed the hide, slide the skin over the board with the hair in the inside.  It should be a snug fit.

Now you can finish fleshing anything that remains and apply the tanning paste.

Thanks ive allready got a board for rats
the saddle is some meat along the back that buyers want left on when
a trapper drys his hides for sale
but with some searching i found out they remove it when they tan

so a good wash and on with the paste
will let ya know how it turns out

turned out good nice and white i prolly could have worked the hide more while it was
drying to soften it up
